<p>The device can be added to an already existing oxygen cutting unit. The bottoms of the slag tanks are removed and replaced by a chain of hinged metal sheets. Flexible segments reaching down to the chain are installed replacing the partitions and creating closed suction chambers as used in the standard combination. The chain of hinged metal sheets can be purchased as a set including the guides and is electrically moved either continuously, in preprogrammed intervals, or controlled manually.</p> |
