<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device with an improved heat radiation property and high reliability, which can be replaced with a conventional electric bulb, a fluorescent lamp or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 400 has a base board on which a pair of positive and negative conductive members separated and insulated from each other are arranged at least ranging from a main surface at one side to a side surface, a light-emitting element electrically connected to the conductive member arranged on the main surface at one side, a light-emitting device 100 having a translucent member condensing light from the light-emitting element, and at least a pair of positive and negative terminals 200a, 200b supplying power to the light-emitting device 100. The terminals 200a, 200b have first terminals 201a, 201b supporting the light-emitting device 100 at the side part and/or second terminals 202a, 202b supporting the light-emitting device 100 at the side of the main surface at one side.
