<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent image defect such as banding or color shift resulting from the angular velocity fluctuation of a photoreceptor drum by ensuring accuracy in the rotation center of the photoreceptor drum and a drum gear of last stage with simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus, which forms images by transmitting torque to the photoreceptor drum removable from the apparatus body through a drum gear 30, comprises a body side plate 20 having U-shaped grooves for rotatably supporting the photoreceptor drum, and a front cylinder bearing 28 and rear cylinder bearing 29 having fitting holes for rotatably pinching and axis-supporting the drum gear 30. The apparatus is characterized in that the axial center in the opening of the body side plate 20 is substantially matched with the axial center of the fitting holes of the front cylinder bearing 28 and rear cylinder bearing 29 by a centering rod 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
