摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for improving the start of a hybrid induction motor and a start-improving method, by minimizing the required voltage and supplying a high starting current at start-up, and by performing the operation at an adequate current or lower, when the starting of the motor is finished and it is put into a normal operating state. SOLUTION: This drive circuit for the hybrid induction motor is provided with main windings 10 that form a main magnetic field, and auxiliary windings 20 that are connected in parallel with the main windings 10, to form rotating magnetic field to the magnetic field generated by the main windings 10. This circuit for improving the start of the hybrid induction motor is constituted of an operation capacitor (Cr) 30 that is connected between the main windings 10 and the auxiliary windings 20, and a starting and current-interrupting means 40 that, electrically connected to the operation capacitor (Cr) 30, supplies a high starting current to the motor at a start time and suppresses the starting current, when it reaches a synchronous speed after the start-up.
