PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for an improved double apron type drawframe. SOLUTION: The double apron type drawframe has a fiber bundling zone connected to a pair of output rollers in the main drafting field and followed by a pair of delivery rollers, a pneumatic compression device between the pair of output rollers and the delivery rollers, the compression device having a perforated belt and a suction device, extending on the side of the belt away from the fiber sliver and sucking air through the fiber sliver. The belts 60, 600 have perforated holes 61 and oblong holes 63, wherein the perforated holes have the same extent in the longitudinal direction and in the crosswise direction and the oblong holes have a larger extent in crosswise direction from the fiber transfer direction than the extent in fiber transfer direction.
