<p>A portal-type transfer apparatus (1) is an apparatus for transferring a vehicle body (M) in the vertical direction. The transfer apparatus (1) has a pair of posts (2, 2) disposed so as sandwich the vehicle body (M), a pair of lifting bodies (3, 3) vertically moved along the pair of the posts (2, 2), tire support portions (6, 7) arranged on each lifting body (3) and supporting outer peripheral lower ends of tires (T) such that lower portions of the tires (T) installed on the vehicle body (M) are exposed downward, a servomotor (4) for vertically moving the lifting bodies (3, 3), and drive cylinders (53) for advancing and retreating the tire support portions (6, 7) between tire receiving positions and sheltering positions.</p> |
