<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable image formation apparatus for attaining high printing quality with few troubles of print waste such as conveyance failure by distinguishing whether sheets have quality capable of withstanding double-face printing or high-speed printing or by performing setting, in relation to an image formation apparatus having a mechanism which enables double-face printing or printing speed shift. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a disclosed-command instruction means for instructing which one of double-face and single-face printing systems to employ, by use of a disclosed command; a non-disclosed command setting means for setting, by use of a non-disclosed command, which of a double-face printing system and a single-face printing system to be applied to a stored medium for each medium storage unite attached to the apparatus; a non-disclosed command priority printing method instruction means for instructing a double-face printing system or a single-face printing system based on the setting of the non-disclosed command setting means regardless of the instruction of the disclosed-command instruction means; and a printing system controlling means for controlling a double-face printing system or single-face printing system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
