<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a person except a regular user from illicitly reading or rewriting data in the reproduction of a program or the like stored in a storage medium by use of a reproducing unit. <P>SOLUTION: The encrypted medium image processor enables a regular right holder to easily execute the program or the like while preventing access to data or the like by a person having no regular right. Medium image information composed of an execution file for executing the program and a data file used in the execution with the execution file is encrypted. Further, only an execution file having the access right is accessible to this data file.
