<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector using a color separating device for selectively improving the brightness of an image or the vividness of a color. <P>SOLUTION: The image projector called the projector has: a lamp generating light; a 1st device consisting of many color filters including the white one respectively having a fixed area; and a 2nd device consisting of many color filters excepting the white one respectively having a fixed area in either of a 1st mode. The projector also consists of a filtering part filtering the light through either the 1st or the 2nd device, a rod lens focusing the light separated by the filtering part and emitting it, and a DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) displaying the image according to an electrical signal based on the emitted light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
