<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas seal structure of a variable displacement supercharger capable of increasing gas sealability, solving problems such as damage, simplifying the structure of the supercharger, and also reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: In this variable displacement supercharger 1, a plurality of circumferentially disposed nozzles 11 forming a vane nozzle are rotatably supported on annular nozzle support rings 12. A drive mechanism 13 adjusting the openings of the nozzles by interlocking these nozzles 11 to each other is installed in a link chamber 14 on the bearing housing 2 side. The inflow of a gas into the link chamber 14 is prevented by sealingly holding the flange part 21a of a heat shielding plate 21 disposed at the rear of a turbine impeller 4 by the nozzle support rings 12 and a bearing housing 2 through an elastic member 22. By this, an elastic force required for the sealing can be provided by the elastic member 22 by shielding heat by the heat shielding plate 21.
