PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double bearing-type reel for fishing, facilitating the maintenance such as oiling to a driven member arranged at the outside of a storing space of a reel body. SOLUTION: The double bearing-type reel for the fishing has a spool 5 supported between right and left frames 2a and 2b of the reel body 1 through bearings 7a and 7b, a handle 15 supported by the reel body 1, and a storing space S2 formed between the frame at one side of the reel body 1 and a side plate, and a winding driven structure 18 stored in the storing space. A hole part 5d to which a lid member 25 is detachably attached is formed in a fishline-winding cylinder part 5a of the spool 5, and a space S3 extended in the rotary shaft direction of the spool is formed in the inside in the diameter direction of the fishline-winding cylinder part.
