PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile robot capable of piling lawn into stacks, when the lawn is harvested. SOLUTION: A lawn harvester has a numerically-controllable robotic manipulator arm 22, wherein the arm 22 is mounted on the harvester and is equipped with two segments which are coupled with each other to be freely rotatable, so that a first segment is rotatably coupled with a fixed base of the harvester, while a second segment 42 holds a pick-up head 44 capable of turning with respect to the first segment. The pick-up head picks up rolls of the lawn, then holds the rolls, and further releases them. The arm is programmed so that various shapes of the stacked rolls of the lawn are realized.
