PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment terminal that can execute optimization processing of increasing the rewrite speed of an information recording medium when the rewrite speed of the information recording medium is lowered. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment terminal 1 comprises a camera part/microphone part 2 for inputting video or audio data, an external data input/output part 4 for inputting/outputting data in/to external equipment, a display part 5 for display, a control part 6 for various controls, an information recording medium I/F 11, and information recording media 12 to 14 for recording data. The control part 6 measures the rewrite speed every time data are recorded on the information recording medium, and when it is lower than a given rewrite speed, executes optimization processing of increasing the rewrite speed of the information recording medium.
