PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus capable of avoiding an interference between communication of user data by first wireless communication and communication of control data by second wireless communication even when the second wireless communication shifts to only communication of the control data at a prescribed interval in the midst of communication of the user data by the first wireless communication. SOLUTION: When Bluetooth (R) communication shifts to a state of only beacon packet communication to maintain synchronization with an opposite Bluetooth terminal in the midst of packet communication (including application data) by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronical engineers, Inc.) 802. 11b, a wireless communication module 101 carries out the packet communication (including application data) in compliance with the IEEE 802. 11b by utilizing an interval of the beacon packet communication in the Bluetooth communication.
