PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical roller bearing capable of improving the lubrication between a holding pocket and a rolling element, and minimizing the sagging of a roller. SOLUTION: In this bearing, a ball-cage 5 has two side rings 6, 7 arranged in parallel with each other and connected by a web 8, and the side rings 6, 7 and the web 8 constitute the holding pocket for a cylindrical roller. A face faced to the cylindrical roller, of the web 8 has an outline fitted to the circular shape of the cylindrical roller over a predetermined radial extension h<SB>S</SB>of the web 8, and at least one axial web position 15, 16 has a holding projecting part 17, 18 for the cylindrical roller. In this bearing, the holding projecting parts are continued to the outline fitted to the circular shape of the cylindrical roller, from a radial transfer position 19, and extended toward an radial inner side, and its face 20 faced to the cylindrical roller is extended approximately in parallel with the radial direction R of the ball-cage over the radial extension h<SB>H</SB>between 5% and 15% of a diameter of the cylindrical roller.
