PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slave cylinder type clutch release bearing device in which various kinds of measuring can be conducted with a single body of a clutch release bearing before installation, and in which excellent installation performance can be achieved. SOLUTION: When the clutch release bearing 10 is held by a spring member 30, it is held to be displaceable in a radial direction by elasticity of the spring member 30 only to a bearing holding member 20. Therefore, even before it is mounted on a drive member 40, moving quantity of the clutch release bearing 10 and its holding force after movement can be measured. In that state, the clutch release bearing 10, the bearing holding member 20, and the spring member 30 form a single assembly, so that they can be stored and transported in the state to achieve installation performance and handling easiness.
