PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental plate for an automobile window enabling mounting of even window glass having no opaque film at the outer edge inside the room without damaging appearance and capable of being easily mounted by a general user, and to provide its mounting method and its mounting set. SOLUTION: An inside shape of rectangular window glass 13 disposed in an automobile is added with an inserting allowance 12 to be inserted and locked into a gap between the inner surface of the window glass 13 and interior member 14 on the upper edge 10a side or the lower edge 10b side at a mounting time, thereby expanding the inside shape vertically. The ornamental plate is formed of an elastic plastic sheet having elasticity for making the other three edges tightly adhere to each other along the inner surface when the upper edge 10a side or the lower edge 10b side is tightly held on the inner surface of the window glass 13, and is mounted to the inner surface side to decorate the window glass 13.
