1,190,897. Resin-impregnated glass fibre laminates. RHONE-POULENC S.A. 12 July, 1968 [13 July, 1967], No. 33458/68. Heading B5N. [Also in Division C3] Laminates are made by compressing at elevated temperature several sheets of glass fibre cloth which has been treated with an ammoniacal solution of a polymer of a monohydric or polyhydric phenol with a dianhydride of formula where R is a benzene nucleus or a radical containing a benzene nucleus. It is believed that the heating causes formation of a polyimide. |
