<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manually align the optical axis of the transmission light of a transmitter side by an inexpensive, simple and small configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In a receiver 22, a reception level detecting circuit 18 detects the reception level of a signal received by a first optical receiving means 15, and transmits a signal corresponding to this result, e.g. by a voltage to a light-emitting driver 20.
