<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load driving device wherein failure in control of a load can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 30 determines in which control mode an alternating-current motor M1 is, PWM control mode, overmodulation control mode, or rectangular wave control mode. When the alternating-current motor M1 is in the PWM control mode, the controller 30 computes the voltage command value with each control timing by a first-order lag using a time constant of 20 msec to control a step-up converter 11. When the alternating-current motor M1 is in the overmodulation control mode, the controller 30 computes the voltage command value with each control timing by a first-order lag using a time constant of 50 msec to control the step-up converter 11. When the alternating-current motor M1 is in the rectangular wave control mode, the controller 30 computes the voltage command value with each control timing by a first-order lag using a time constant of 100 msec to control the step-up converter 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
