<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber junction box for contriving high density storage. <P>SOLUTION: The end of an optical fiber cable A is grasped with a cable-grasping instrument 6. A ribbonβextended from the end of the optical fiber cable A, and a coated optical fiberα, provided in between each connection end and an optical connector to be drawn from the ribbonβare connected to an optical connector 20 via a connection optical fiber 11. A part of the connection optical fiber 11 is held by the resin sheet 15, in a state of being arranged planarly. The optical connector 20 is connected to a connection part 8a of an adapter 8. The connection optical fiber 11, the resin sheet 15 and the adapter 8 are stored in a casing 2, and further the cable grasping instrument 6 is fixed on the casing 2.
