PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce danger to a rider and mechanical damage to a gearshift at the time of multiple gear-shifting of an electronically servo-assisted bicycle gearshift. SOLUTION: This method for electronically servo-assisting the electronically servo-assisted bicycle gearshift 8 includes a step (a) for carrying out multiple gear-shifting for moving a chain to a gear-shifting direction from a present toothed wheel to a target toothed wheel not adjacent to the toothed wheel in a gearshift group having at least three toothed wheels, and the step (a) for carrying out multiple gear-shifting includes a step (b) for carrying out one stage gear-shifting for moving the chain to the gear-shifting direction, namely to the toothed wheel adjacent to the present toothed wheel, and a step (c) for repeating the step (b) until the adjacent toothed wheel becomes the target toothed wheel.
