PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attractive sink drain hole cover at low cost, which conceals the inside of its strainer and effectively prevents the fall of spoons or other small articles there. SOLUTION: This drain hole cover has a top plate 3 located within an annular external drain hole edge 2 and stretching over it. A pair of bent-down water guides 4, 5 protrude inward from the inner circumference of the annular external drain hole edge 2 to put the top plate 3 between them from both sides. This drain hole cover is constructed so that the water guides 4 and 5 may have their inner ends face each other at a position below the top plate 3 and form an opening 6 leading to the strainer. The area of top plate 3 connected with the annular external drain hole edge 2 is curved downward to form a groove 3a of which the end 3a' can open above the water guide 4 (or 5) to lead waste water.
