PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material forming a coating of hardly sticking a paste thereto and easily being erased scribbles thereon, so as to solve the problems on handbills stuck on a wall and fence, and on a telegraph pole located at a street together with the problems on scribbles. SOLUTION: The coating material 6 is prepared by dissolving a waste styrene foam 1 into an organic solvent 2. The coating material is obtained from waste materials without using virgin chemicals. An advanced research on recycling of the waste styrene foam is unprogressive, in particular.
