PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which has improved silica dispersibility and excellent flexibility, namely low elastic modulus, and to provide a tire which uses the rubber composition and has an excellent wet grip performance. SOLUTION: This rubber composition containing a mixture obtained by blending silica having a bulk density of≤160 g/L with an aroma oil, wherein the amount of the compounded silica is≥50 wt. % of a reinforcing agent in the rubber composition.
