PAPER SHEET FOLDING DEVICE, PAPER SHEET FOLDING METHOD AND POST-PROCESSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent displacement of a fold formed on a paper sheet or displacement between the paper sheets when forming the fold on a paper bundle wherein a plurality of the paper sheets are stacked. SOLUTION: This paper sheet folding device is provided with a first folding part comprising a first holding roller, a second folding roller brought into pressure contact with the first folding roller, and a first holding plate member for carrying a first fold of the paper sheet between the first folding roller and the second folding roller; and a second folding part comprising a second folding roller, a third folding roller brought into pressure contact with the second folding roller on the paper sheet carrying direction downstream side of the first folding roller, and a second folding plate member for carrying a second fold of the paper sheet between the second folding roller and the third folding roller. After forming the first fold of the paper sheet in the first folding part, the second fold of the paper sheet is formed in the second folding part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
