DEFLECTION ELEMENT, OPTICAL SCANNER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deflection element which is provided with a reciprocating deflection mirror, an optical scanner which is provided with the deflection element and an image forming device which is provided with the optical scanner, in which a magnification error is reduced and flair light is prevented. SOLUTION: The optical scanner is composed by having: a light source; a deflection element 13 which is provided with a deflection mirror 6 which deflects a luminous flux emitted from the light source by reciprocating making a center a rotation axis 60; a coupling lens which couples the luminous flux emitted from the light source; a cylindrical lens which guides the luminous flux emitted from the coupling lens onto the deflection mirror; and a scanning optical element which condenses the luminous flux deflected with the deflection mirror onto a plane to be scanned. The optical scanner is further provided with an adjustment means 16 which tilts the deflection element 13 around an axis which is substantially in parallel to the rotation axis 60.
