PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the improvement of the performance of an oil seal by stabilizing the attitude and the oil seal which is easily attached and detached. SOLUTION: Since a side lip 26 is formed integrally with a metallic ring 20 and surely fit to a retainer 2 by the elasticity of the metallic ring 20, the contacting state of the side lip 26 with slingers 11A, 11B is stabilized and a specified sealing property is secured even in the case the slingers 11A, 11B are revolved in the state where the side lip 26 is in contact together with a roll 17 around the axial center at high speed. In the case a seal member 12A is changed, the seal member 12A is easily detached from the retainer 2 by the operation that a detaching tool is inserted into an annular space formed between the outer peripheral surface of a wide part 5 and the outer end side in the radial direction of an extended part 24, catches the extended part 24 of the metallic ring 20 and is pulled in the shaft direction.
