PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION CONTAINING NATEGLINIDE

A pharmaceutical preparation which contains nateglinide in an amount of at least 26 wt.% based on the whole preparation and contains at least one disintegrator selected among carmellose or a salt thereof, sodium carboxymethyl starch, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, partially gelatinized starch, and hydroxypropyl cellulose having a low degree of substitution in an amount of at least 28 wt.% based on the whole preparation. The preparation has a high nateglinide content and the nateglinide is rapidly absorbed to reduce blood sugar. The preparation is small and is easy to take.
