The methof for producing hygiene articles involves formation of stacks (11) of single or compound nonwoven material layers (1), and cutting of these stacks at a cutting station (14) by a single cutting operation to produce a specified number of hygiene articles. An independent claim is also included for a resultant nonwoven material stack arrangement for at least 30 hygiene articles.
