<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator in which power generation efficiency can be enhanced by hitting the surface of a piezoelectic element to be hit from a substantially vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: When a shaft 4 is pressed downward by an external force in a generator 1, displacement of the shaft 4 is stored in a coil spring 6 as resilient energy. When the shaft 4 is released, it is returned back to the original upper position by the push-up force of the coil spring 6 but a rotator 3 sustains rotation by inertia because a rack 42 and a pinion 35 are disengaged. Consequently, a second magnet 12 is displaced by magnetic attraction and repulsion of a first magnet 31 and thereby an impactor 10 hits the surface 20 to be hit of a piezoelectic element 2 repeatedly from the thrust direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
