<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and lighten a fuel cell stack by using a metal separator, and to secure desired power generating performance and sealing performance in each unit cell. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel cell stack 10, a laminate 14 formed by laminating a plurality of unit cells 12 is stored in a box-shaped casing 24.
