PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fitting a sleeve with which the burning of solid fuel piled up on a furnace bottom part at the starting of firing, is promoted in a simple method and the load of the working for fitting the sleeve can be lightened in order to keep the stable environment in the furnace after starting the firing. SOLUTION: The sleeve fitted into a tuyere by dividing the sleeve into≥3 pieces on the peripheral direction as the divided pieces, and the divided pieces are abutted on each of pieces to form and fix the sleeve.
