PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a refrigerant compressor with high efficiency without making a ring magnet supporting portion bottom surface which travels in the mixed gas of refrigerant and lubricating oil at a high speed receive large fluid resistance. SOLUTION: A through hole 56 is formed in a bottom surface of the ring magnet supporting portion 55, and an open edge of the through hole is formed into a smooth curved surface. As a result, the mixed gas of refrigerant and lubricating oil with high density passes through the through hole 56 without receiving the resistance. Thus, even if the magnet supporting portion travels at a high speed in the mixed gas of refrigerant and lubricating oil with high density, no large fluid resistance is generated.
