PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thin vibrating motor applicable to an electronic apparatus, e.g. a portable telephone. SOLUTION: A rotor 3 having an eccentric center of gravity is provided in a motor frame 2, and an air core coil 4 and a drive magnet 5 are arranged oppositely in these motor frame 2 and the rotor 3. A thrust bearing 6 for sustaining the gap between the air core coil 4 and the drive magnet 5 is provided between the rotor 3 and the motor frame 2 of the vibrating motor for generating a vibration by rotary driving the rotor 3 having an eccentric center of gravity through unbalance in the weight of the rotor 3.
