PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard mounting device which can use an existing scaffold board as it is without performing any work on the scaffold board, and facilitates mounting/dismounting of the baseboard on/from the scaffold board. SOLUTION: The baseboard mounting device functions to mount the baseboard 4 for the scaffold board on a side edge 5 of the scaffold board 1, so as to assume an erect position. The baseboard mounting device has a device main body 3 supported on upper surfaces of opposed edges of the respective scaffold boards 1, 1 which are arranged on both sides of a horizontal member 2 of a scaffolding frame, and a grip means 9 arranged at the center of the device main body 3, for gripping the horizontal member 2 at a location in the vicinity of an inner surface of a scaffold board engaging hook 8. Further the main body 3 has out-guides 10 each supported by an outside end face 6 of the scaffold board 1 and baseboard end inserting portions 11 which each allows insertion of an end of the baseboard 4 for the scaffold board, to hold the same in the erect position, at both lateral ends of the main body 3.
