<p>The invention concerns a connecting device for sealing connection between two tube (20) ends, two opposite symmetrical portions (2a, 2b) for engaging the respective tube (20) ends, each of the portions (2a, 2b) including catching means for retaining the tube in the connection, and means for sealing said connection, said catching means of each portion comprising a truncated chamber (5) provided in each portion, a longitudinal rib (7) projecting into the truncated chamber (5) and a slotted ring (11) whereof the ends (11a, 11b) are arranged on either side of the longitudinal rib (7), said ring (11) being provided with an internal thread (12), so as to cause the tube (20) to be locked by any traction on said tube in a direction opposite to its engagement direction. The ring (11) is arranged free in the truncated chamber (5) and elastically deformable, the internal diameter of the ring (11) being smaller than the external diameter of tube (20) when it is not in a stressed or deformed state, so as to be elastically deformed and grip the tube (20) when said tube (20) is inserted.</p> |
