The engine (6) and the gearbox (7) located in front of the engine (6) are held by a unit fitted with at least one vibration absorbing device in order to absorb vibrations causing noise to be noticed in the passenger cabin. The standard absorber is activated by vertical motions of the car. The new design of a carrying unit is additionally equipped with an hydro-absorber (8, 9) positioned between engine (6) and car body reacting on vibrations caused by longitudinal motions of the vehicle.
