Combined stand and charger for electrically operated razor, comprising swivel mounted socket for flexible positioning of cable

The plug end of the cable is particularly rigid for safety reasons, allowing normally only a horizontal positioning of the cable close to the stand (1). The new design of a combined stand and charger (1) is fitted with two wing-shaped holding elements (7) located inside the housing (1), accommodating the socket element (2) between them and rotating around two transversally positioned bolts (5). The socket (2) can be either used in a horizontal or in a nearly vertical position when the stand (1) has to be placed close to a wall or any other vertical object.
