<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man-hour management system, capable of increasing the speeds at which man hours are registered and/or improved or eliminated, of analyzing processes and the nature of a line in a detailed manner, and of constructing new working man hours. <P>SOLUTION: The system for managing man hours in the production of a product includes a component number table 10 for registering and managing components according to component numbers; a machining symbol table 11 for registering and managing the content of machining; a process module structure table 12 for registering and managing the contents of operations for each process; a function module structure table 13 for registering and managing the contents of operations for each function; and an elemental work table 16 for hierarchically classifying elemental work according to operation and registering and managing it.
