AIR CONDITIONER AND CASE CONTAINING ANTIBACTERIAL AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of continuously releasing antibacterial agent without being affected by an air flow and a case containing the agent, and to easily replace the agent by lengthening a replacing cycle of the agent.

SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, a synthetic high polymer case filled with the antibacterial agent included in a medium such as a porous body or water absorption polymer is arranged on an air flow upstream side or/and an air flow downstream side of an evaporator. The case is formed by wall thickness in which the antibacterial agent is capable of transmitting gas, and wall thickness of the wall on the air flow downstream side is formed to be thinner than wall thickness of the wall on the air flow upstream side.
