<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover remaining oxygen occlusion capacity of catalyst in high accuracy after fuel cut in a evaporated fuel treatment device mounted on an internal combustion engine having a fuel cut function. <P>SOLUTION: When a fuel cut condition is satisfied (time t1), fuel cut is started. When engine speed NE drops to recover speed NEF, fuel cut is completed (time t2). Until oxygen occlusion quantity OSA of catalyst drops from the maximum oxygen occlusion quantity CMAX to standard occlusion quantity KL after completion of fuel cut (time t3), air-fuel ratio A/F is kept in a predetermined rich condition. Enrichment of air-fuel ratio is realized by keeping a purge correction factor FGP to 0 while circulating purge gas (keep PGR≠0). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
