PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image carrier unit having an image carrier or the like, whose holding accuracy of each of the devices and positioning accuracy with respect to an adjacent unit are made excellent, and an image forming apparatus having the image carrier unit. SOLUTION: In the image carrier units 50Y, 50M, 50C and 50K having the image carriers 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K carrying images, and attaching members 51 attached to the both ends of the image carriers 1Y, 1M , 1C and 1K, it is characterised in that the attaching members 51 attached to both ends are formed with the same metallic mold.
