PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of improving quality of image and provided with flexible extension property while reducing cost in a back end part. SOLUTION: A two-dimensional drawing module 25 reads sound line data periodically (S401) and examines physical structure of a probe and a scan method of sound line data to select the optimum coordinate transformation algorithm (S402). Then, the two-dimensional drawing module 25 selects interpolation algorithm based on a display rate (S403) and performs two-dimensional DSC processing using the selected coordinate transformation algorithm to generate display data (S404a, 404b or 404c). Furthermore, the two-dimensional drawing module 25 performs after image processing (S405) for the display data, frame interpolation processing (S406) of B mode image data, and displayed color conversion processing (S407) to transmit display data after processing to a display part 14 (S408).
