PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel valve capable of enhancing reliability in the opening/closing operation of a channel, and to provide a liquid ejector comprising the channel valve in which maintenance of a liquid ejection head is carried out effectively. SOLUTION: When a film 15 is pressed by the abutting part 14 (14b, 14c, 14m, 14y) of a press member, the abutting parts 14b, 14c, 14m, 14y abut on the bottom of an ink channel through the film 15. Furthermore, the film 15 (15b, 15c, 15m, 15y) can be prevented from pulling each other by means of slits S1-S3.
