PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an amplifying device small in size and reduced in cost by unifying a plurality of detectors used for the amplifying device. SOLUTION: The amplifying device comprises an amplifier 401 for the amplifying device, an input level detection coupler 402 provided on the pre-stage of the amplifier, an output level detection coupler 404 provided on the post-stage of the amplifier, a detector 103 which detects the levels of the input level detection coupler and the output level detection coupler, a switching part 101 of which one of terminals is connected either to the output detection coupler or to the input detection coupler and the other terminal is connected to the detector, and an isolator 102 provided between the input level detection coupler and the switching part.
