PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of a revolving coupling of a scroll compressor. SOLUTION: The revolving coupling is constructed as follows. It comprises needle rollers which roll in X and Y directions, have retainers and are piled with race rings interposed therebetween. Vibration absorbing members are installed to the intermediate race rings. The retainers are guided by oval holes in inner circumferences of the retainers. Contours of inner and outer peripheries of the intermediate race rings are formed of stepped ridge lines. This enables a high pressure, high speed and quiet operation of the scroll compressor and minimizes a revolving diameter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
