JOINT STRUCTURE OF BEAM AND COLUMN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of beam and column capable of providing a space between a plasticized part in a joint member consisting of a splice plate or a split T and a buckling restraint member by a simple means. SOLUTION: The joint structure of both of beam and column connecting the column 5 side to the beam 1 through the joint member 32 (the splice plate 9 or the split T) having the plasticized part 11 plasticized in an intermediate section is so constituted that a space formation cylindrical spacer 33 having the size slightly larger than the size of a thickness of the plasticized part 11 is placed in the approximately same level as that of the plasticized part 11 an that the buckling restraint member 13 for preventing the buckling of the plasticized part 11 is engaged with the space formation cylindrical spacer 33. The space 14 is formed between the buckling restraint member 13 and the plasticized part 11 so that the buckling restraint member 13 can be mounted to the joint member 32 in a state to make non-adherence to the plasticized part 11.
