PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent capable of easily removing persistent stain such as water stain firmly deposited on a reinforced plastic bathtub and plastic bathing utensils at a low cost. SOLUTION: The terpene-based detergent contains 0.01-2 wt.% enzyme, 5-15 wt.% terpene, 5-30 wt.% surfactant and 55-90 wt.% water and the amount of terpene is less than that of the surfactant. The enzyme contains proteinase, amylase, lipase or their mixture, the terpene is composed mainly of limonene, a surfactant having an HLB of≤8 is compounded to the terpene and a surfactant having an HLB of≥12 is compounded to water.
