PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a good image without body motion artifact by correcting positional deviation following six-dimensional body motion including three-dimensional movement and three-dimensional rotation. SOLUTION: In positioning photographing carried out prior to photographing, multi-slice photographing is performed while following body motion using a navigator, and a plurality of cross-sectional images are obtained at every time phase of body motion. A photographed face including an objective part such as an oblique face is determined from the plurality of cross-sectional images. Photographed face information related to the time phase reflects deviation caused by six-dimensional body motion including three-dimensional movement and three-dimensional rotation, and is obtained at every time phase. Photographing is performed while detecting body motion, and based on the previously acquired photographed face information of every time phase, the photographed face corresponding to the detected time phase of body motion is determined to perform photographing. Since the photographed faces can be set at every actually measured time phase, a sharp image without body motion artifact can be acquired. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
